Prof. Liquan Chen, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. Researcher at the Institute of Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He used to be the Vice Chairman of the Asian Solid Ion Society. Since 2004, he has served as the Vice Chairman of the China Institute of Silicate. Prof. Liquan Chen took the lead in researching lithium batteries and related materials in China, and first developed lithium ion batteries in China. The scientific and engineering problems of large-scale production of lithium ion batteries have been solved, and the industrialization of lithium ion batteries has been realized. He was the head and main researcher of high temperature superconducting materials in physics Physics, and first discovered the 70k superconducting signs, developed a superconductor in the liquid nitrogen temperature zone and first published the material composition. In recent years, he has carried out physical and chemical processes in all-solid lithium batteries, lithium-sulfur batteries, lithium-air batteries, room temperature sodium ion batteries and solid oxide fuel cells, as well as material design, synthesis, characterization, physics and electrochemical performance and its application research. He has published more than 250 papers and applied for more than 15 invention patents. Prof. Liquan Chen has won the first prize of the National Natural Science Award, the Special Prize and the second prize of Science and Technology Progress of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Prof. Liquan Chen was awarded the International Battery Materials Association Lifetime Achievement Award in 2007. Prof. Liquan Chen serves as Chief Scientist and Director of the Academic Advisory Committee of the Center.
